Market Day

March is in like a lamb. Time to head to the twice-weekly market.



Today's haul:

(There's a kilo of potatoes, a half kilo of strawberries, radishes, fresh ginger, dried figs and kiwi, candied ginger, 3 pairs of wool socks for Alan, and a thyme plant.)

Started off the day with an espresso and croissant, then wandering through a part of Treviso I hadn't been in before. It was like being in a new town.

Went for a run today along via Alzaia which runs along the river. It was 0 or 1 degree, misty, and foggy.

Saw this amazing bird with yellow-green feet, he flew off as I tried to get close enough to take his picture.
